    Clachnaben View - Aberdeenshire

Thanks Craig. Yes the light wasn't great at that time and I plan on heading back at a better time. I will maybe give it another shot through processing.

    North sea images

Great set. Number 1 is my favourite, when I first saw it I said WOW out loud. Love it, well done.

    Clachnaben View - Aberdeenshire

Hi All, Been a long time since I have posted in here. My photography mojo had slowed down a little over the last year or so, I never lost it all together but wasn't addicted to it like before. I seem to have now rekindled this and love heading out and planning where to go next. Anyway, I went...

Aberdeen Breakwater Sunrise (another shot added)

Hi again, here is another shot from that same morning, almost identical composition but just a few minutes after the first one. So the light had made it above the clouds and spilled onto the rocks. Aberdeen Breakwater Sunrise (2) by chrisgrieve, on Flickr

    River Feugh - Aberdeenshire

Thankfully there was a handy rock to stand on, but getting off that hand slippy rock meant my feet got wet :)

    River Feugh - Aberdeenshire

Cheers Brash. Not from the lodge side of the river, this is still the Feugh side but downstream close to the mouth of the river to the Dee. Thanks Doggel, it really is a lovely location and i could spend hours sitting there.

Aberdeen Breakwater Sunrise (another shot added)

Thanks Kevin, I know what you mean about the look of a sunrise. I have another shot when the sun came above the low cloud which shows a more sunrise feel. I will get it loaded up and post. Yes it was hard to get out of my warm bed at that time in the morning but once i was there i was glad i had.

    Eilean Donan Castle

Eilean Donan really is a great location. think i prefer number 2 the best and the moody clouds give great atmosphere. Number 1 does a great job of leading your eyes down to the castle but think it may be a little over processed for my liking. (y)

    Critique Loch Ba Sunrise

Great set, really like number 3, think it is the foreground interest adds something different with the purple heather. (y)

    River Feugh - Aberdeenshire

Hi, I live locally to the River Feugh in Aberdeenshire so it is a great location for me to head to easily, I have tried many different angles and have a few favourite spots that I seem to always shoot from. This time I headed downstream and shot back up to the falls framing the falls through...

Aberdeen Breakwater Sunrise (another shot added)

Hi All, Haven't been active on here for a while, always still been taking photos but the past few months I have really gotten back into it again. Dragged myself out of bed at 0430am last weekend and headed to Aberdeen Harbour for the sunrise. There was low cloud so the light didn't spread too...

    Scotland for Landscapes ?

I agree with the images that Steve has shown above. There is so much to choose from in Scotland. I live in Deeside and there is so much to pick up this side too. My favourite place is the Isle of Skye, it is just packed full of landscape wherever you look. My website and Facebook page have...

    Lodore Falls

Great, everything looks spot on, the interest in the foreground really adds to the overall image,. The lighting looks great there. (y)

    Burn O'Vat

Hi, Great images, I live not too far from these falls so I have been many times. the first image is good but its always a hard composition as there never seems to be a decent flow of water in the foreground as it flows out behind the larger rocks. you could always zoom in so that you are...

    The Falls of Muick

Great shot you have there Len , as above you could lighten the shadows up a bit to get some of the detail in the rocks and trees, Matt's edit may be a bit too much as it is starting to affect the water. (no offence Matt :)) other than that you have the shutter speed spot on :thumbs...
