    Just a dandelion flower

That's what I meant by I felt the dandelion should be more on the right.. ;) - I took about 20 shots of this dandelion and this one was the best except for my positioning. I just feels like it's kind of looking in towards the left and so the dandelion would have been better a bit more on the...

    Lightroom question

Well I've got it on a free trial now. I needed something anyway as I add some photos I wanted to tweak a little and had nothing in terms of software. I seem to be learning as I go along, but today I'm going to check out those tutorials. ;)

    Just a dandelion flower

I'm kicking myself. I feel the dandelion should be on the right… however, I'm new to photography and was experimenting in order to get to know my camera and have a better feel over composition. This was taken a few weeks back and I think everything was on auto. I have since moved to doing some...

Hi. Thank you for your comments. I've sharpened the photo and I've played a little with the lights and darks in Lightroom. I think this now looks better. :)

First portrait trial, first studio shot… Critics and advice needed

I'm adding here another couple of shots that I also like. The first one is kind of in par with the one I already posted above. But I think the focus is better. The second one has a totally different tone to it. I love the pose as it's very geometrical. I know that again her face is a little...

First portrait trial, first studio shot… Critics and advice needed

Hi, Still new to photography, starting to know my camera a little bit more (only a little bit). I was very fortunate that my last local camera club session was a portrait practical session in a studio. I was extremely nervous, but it got me better acquainted to my gear. Anyway, here's one of my...
