    Trackball problem.

This video shows you how to take it apart: Probably other guides available too, just google it. Seems pretty straight forward, just take it apart, have a look at it, give it a clean, see if there is anything obvious that is causing the problem.

    Master Boot Record.......

Potentially one thing it could be is an issue with the case, something I came across once where the case reset button was stuck/shorting and so preventing the system from starting. Remove all the case connections (power sw, reset sw, leds) from the motherboard and use a screw driver to short...

    Master Boot Record.......

Are you sure that beep code is for the MBR? 1 long and 2 short normally would indicate an issue with the video card. A lack of or damaged MBR shouldn't stop the BIOS from showing.

I'm currently applying to graduate schemes, but I am struggling with answering certain types of questions on application forms, so thought I'd ask on here for advice and tips. Generic USB Flash Drives vs Sandisk etc

A 128GB £10 pen drive on ebay will most likely be a 1GB drive formatted to look like 128, then when you put anything more than 1GB on it, it will just corrupt. My advice is only ever buy memory cards/sticks from trustworthy sources, so you don't end up with a fake. When deciding on what to...

Windows 8.1 - the Start button returns....

In the 8 or 9 months I've been using Windows 8, the number of times I have missed the start menu is precisely equal to zero. You can do virtually everything quicker on Windows 8 than on previous editions of Windows, just no one wants to learn and get used to a slightly different way of doing...

 English to Filipino to Georgian to English: But listen carefully to the sound. Your grief. Beat like a heart that drives you crazy. This silence is aging. I had, and what you lost.
