    Two questions

Hello everyone, Apologies for being so quiet lately but I've been really busy moving into a new place and photography has not been high on my list of priorities. I'm back into it now, though, and need help. I did a photoshoot for a local band a couple of months ago and I've had four...

    Time to shoot in manual

Thank you Cedric and sorry for asking the questions all the time - I'm just really enthusiastic at the moment. I have the articles you sent me the links to printed out and am driving down to Kent tomorrow so will take advantage of the 5-hour sit-down to take it all in. Thanks a lot for taking...

    Grand Canyon

That's fair enough I suppose. I was very lucky to have it paid for (I was there with work) but I'd happily empty my bank account to go ahead. It was phenomenal. I'll try find a really horrible view of it! Haha

How long are we talking? Over 5 hours?! Do you have any shots you can share with us? This should be the dedicated thread for Grand Canyon shots.

That's good to know. Do you have any shots of the north you could share with us?

Thanks for that. Knowing that I don't necessarily have to tinker with everything all the time is great! :)

    Time to shoot in manual

Thanks Tom. If I'm taking a photo of a golfer, say, and I want to catch the ball without any blur, what's the fastest speed I could safely go to? And what would you say is the highest aperture you can go to without it being too dark? Thanks mate.

    Time to shoot in manual

Thanks for that, mate. Can I just ask you: do you ever shoot in shutter priority mode? And if so, how do you stop it being dark when at 1/4000th of a second? Thanks again.

The Rhinoceros I Found in My Shed

Wow! In which country did you take this? Surely these don't live in the UK!

    Time to shoot in manual

Thanks a lot, Colostomy Bag Supplier (). That makes a lot of sense. If you and Cedric rarely need manual then I don't either!
