Umbrella softbox? You can get cheap Westcott Apollo style equivalents from China from £15-£50 depending on size for flashes and about £70-£100 for studio heads.

Yeah I get the theory, but I've only ever seen them on old film cameras. Modern Lenses all have the round or "petal" hoods. Have you got a link to proper fitting one or do you think he has screwed one into the filter thread?

Nikon verion II came out in May 2010. Costs £4,800 3 years later. Cost £7,000 new? 32% reduction. We need to check this post in 3 years to see if the the Canon costs £8,160 or less in May 2016.

Ebay. Cheaper direct from China, costs more from a UK based seller. Ideally 1 trigger per flash, but 1 trigger and slave mode works. If you are using certain modifiers then slave mode may not work too well and its best to have 1 trigger per flash. In any case, it never hurts to have back-ups.
