Hi guys, I just joined the other day. I have a fuji finepix jz100, very basic point & shoot but has a lot of integral features that do the work for me. It also has a manual If i'm feeling more creative & want more control.. However.. I've had the camera since April last year, & i'm struggling...

It's pretty hard to get a bad butterfly photo, especially dosile exotic ones inside a house, isn's it lol. I went to the nearest one to me end of last year & got some excellent shots, too.. so easy aren't they, & magnificent colours= winner :)

Number 3!! All excellent.. for a first try you are ready to knock the socks off people :O I was expecting some shocking pics, blurry, or far away.. You've hit the spot. Keep on using solid backgrounds to draw attention to detail, and your chosen angles.. You got it right already ;)

3 & 4 are the best. Its about creating shapes with models, & 4 stands out better than the later one where shes looking at the camera as its looks too amateur-ish ,. on both model & togs behalf. 3 creates excellent shapes & adds a mood. 4 gives it a high end fashion feel & makes us ask questions...

Bah!! I don't live near anywhere beautiful, & my camera isnt powerful enough to do night trails on a low iso, & I'm not near any water.. or hills.. so.. :S It was a hard choice lol. Grumble, grumble, I had to go on a coach trip for this photo.I think its one my faves as the end product was...

Try a sunset, that has more layers to really bring out HDR better, or vehicles often look awesome when brought out HDR, & will provide you with plenty of work to be getting on with.:)
