If the extra weight and space can be used to carry the additional lens then why not take both - the extra focal length may be beneficial. Hoping to go myself soon so would be interested if you post any resulting shots. Enjoy the day.

I am considering purchasing a 'take anywhere' camera to supplement my 7D. Due to the fact i am hoping to take the camera on a skiing holiday in the new year i have been looking at the Olympus Tough TG-1. I have read a few reviews on the camera but was wondering if anyone has some hands on...

Agree with this completely - just bought an XPS17 with SSD, 8GB RAM and 1080p screen - great piece of kit. Dell outlet is so useful.

You should try Prior Park, they have a fantastic Palladian bridge and close by you can get a shot of the City.
