im talking about the new "standard" but not standard design, not the much better minolta one...
mis can do evf (couple of models, s***ty evf modual) flash, and gps (no model, was in previous a mount cameras) and isnt that standard, and the flashes have weak flanges
im after the little silly bit of plastic that covers the flash's shoe, like here https://www.adorama.com/fplfxp009.html
any idea what to search for? im having no luck :(, want something as sonys foot design is terrible.
i think google earth has a ruler, so maybe worth using that and compairing the distances you will be at in quatar to the actual bikes (or best guess) then measure up some track your familer with, so you can get a idea of what focal length is needed
i think you need a newer lightroom, or capture one to really take advantage of a "proper" gfx card (maybe other raw devlopers too)
and for capture one, amd cards where better, think they have tend to have better general compute performance than the equivilent nvidia card, and you do need todo...

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdlxS7rhnCw66zc4N-_Xu0Q fairly quiet too, bit like ben horne
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn9StOSlw8KPG3bvfecI6lA fairly quiet channel
oh and decent wifi and 4g inbuilt, so you can social media on the camera itself with no depenancy on a tablet or phone, or bluetooth etc, thats always tedious, and lunches batteries
phase ones cameras have some nifty features
but really for us hardcore togs itll be more buttons and dials
canikon/pentax could do dual viewfinder, normal slr type, then evf type to the side
and more memory presets
for desktop, pc. it should be a better long term solution, as you can progressively upgrade it endlessly, while desktop macs are more limited.
for laptop id either go mac, or surface pro (for the pen) or something similer with that function
