I have to agree with others here, the constant "I saved £xxx pounds", and the "I paid £35 duty/vat/fees on my £700 lens" should not be allowed. If it is then what is the harm in others posting in reply to this, if people didn't boast/show-off then others would not feel the need to respond...

I've also still got my 18-135 too that I use from time to time on my 7D if I don't want to take the 17-55 & 70-200. It's a very capable lens and very handy if you just want to take the body and a single lens.

This is the thing that keeps me reading this thread. It's not Panamoz, they are not the importer, it's each and every buyer (importer) that are evading the Duty & VAT. Wouldn't be my choice but if people are happy to deceive the HMRC that's up to them.

Not Amazon direct though it's a third party seller.

I very much doubt that given the rules regarding the transporation of lithium batteries, any company has a duty of care.
