    Thanks all.@scotty the copyright stuff is loaded into the D300 and is then automatically added to every shot :) I only needed to do this once.

    thanks all. re bouys: I can see your reasoning, but to me they are an integral part of the scene. Mark, it was at slack water, the time between tides. That, a nice still morning and a large slice of luck. Yes it was six seconds! :thumbs:

    You sometimes just get a glint of colour! Half light clickable through to Flickr, but exif 6secs, f10, 200iso, with a ND0.9 H :)

    Hi, the noise is probably due to the sky being dark and I've had to lighten it (badly) in pp. I really should use Reverse grads. Did you view large in flickr?

    Hi Et, how are you? Being on the east coast means we get the early morning light, so this is dawn rather than later. ;)

    Thanks all once again. :thumbs: James, the picture is clickable back to Flickr, but the exif data is 100iso, 2 sec., 10mm (10-20 sigma), f10 using a 0.6 soft and a 0.9 hard ND grad. Hope thats of use. :)
