Looking at a few it seems there is area more sharp than the area you have focused on the neck but the shoulder and beak seem to be more sharp. It seems the focus is a few mm closer than where you are focussing but that is a tiny distance over the length you are shooting at.

I just make sure I crop picture to A4 size then make sure image size is A4 also. Never had a problem and I have same printer.

Not for me im afraid. Its like some hideous toxic soup river. Photoshop some super villain in there pouring toxic stuff into the river and you have a picture but as it stands. No.
