Abandoned places to shoot in leicester

I'm in need of some help. I'm looking for abandoned buildings within Leicestershire to shoot with some models. I'm looking for lots of space and light also I'm able to drive so it's not like it HAS to be in leicester. Thanks for the help in advance

There are some old buildings off Ross Walk behind where B.U.S.M. used to be. I was down there last week. The canal runs alongside them.
On one of my visits I saw some people from Loughborough Uni doing some videoing there.

Look around the Frog Island area, I seem to recall some derelict buildings around there last time I was in leicester

Corahs is the obvious one! I moved to Leicester 8 months ago and still want to check the site out.

When the weather gets better (more evening light), might head down. Be interested to know if its a safe area.

Corah is a little rough now, not the most secure of locations. Just be aware if you plan on taking a couple of £k of equipment.
