A bit of a secret the books aren't really very old. I had to make them look old, which I quite enjoyed doing.

This was taken at my camera club on a talk/demonstration I did about how I set up, take and process my still life.

Editing wise, in simple terms, I use the curves in Lightroom to reduce contrast and add texture layers in Photoshop.

You've presented this one very well. Realistic aging applied to the point where I can almost feel the dust on those books that has gathered over the years.
