if it's under 2kg it's £8.50 with £500 insurance, bizarrely if it's over 2 kg it's over £20 with £500 insurance but if you split it into 2 x under 2kg packages it's £17 with 2x £500 insurance.
Only royal mail could organise a parcel service where it's cheaper to handle and insure 2 packages rather than one

I can't for the life of me see why it jumps so much,if they had a £12 up to 5KG service i'm sure they'd get more business, if you posted a brick it'd cost £21.45 but a golf club in a box 10x the size is £8.50 :bonk:
