4. The only kiss I got right. This guy was a right character. Must be known by half the crowd as he kept zigzagging the road much to the amusement (or was it annoyance) of the Met Police

It was a pleasure photographing this event; all the crews, marshals, Met Police and local police were so friendly and accommodating.

Good fun was had but knackered after running along side for an hour or so after only a few hours sleep and a belly full of beer :naughty:

That works well I've got an idea for when it's in my idea and I really hope that I can pull it off (y) but I think this does the job, the focus looks great I do think that it would also be nice to see one that's a little wider :thinking:

I should have had it on F5.6 but was messing with the carmera and went from Manual to AV then the next time I looked up he was there so I took the shot.

Monday 18th June 2012, 1 to 3 were taken in Middlesbrough at 0630 and 4 and 5 were both captured by my husband in sunny Saltburn at 0800

Hope to see many more images from the event :)
 
Did hope to catch it passing through Blyth / Whitley Bay Iris, but the weather was appalling.
Looks like you got a nice day for it.

I am covering it for the nationals, I just wanted to see if anyone else here would be around.
 
Nottingham last Thursday (June 28th). Torchbearer before the ice center, and then a different one coming out.

Also got a shot of one of the outriders (motorised), giving a helping hand to an outrider (pedal) up a hill. He was literally pushing him up the hill at about 3mph. Any bikers out there will know how hard this is!

Northampton earlier today. Great atmosphere. Police riders high-fiving the crowds as they drove by.

Just four weeks today and I will be watching it live.(y)
