Here are my attempts from Hazel Grove this morning.
1.
2.
3. Messed up all the torch 'kisses' - this was the best I got
4. The only kiss I got right. This guy was a right character. Must be known by half the crowd as he kept zigzagging the road much to the amusement (or was it annoyance) of the Met Police
That works well I've got an idea for when it's in my idea and I really hope that I can pull it off but I think this does the job, the focus looks great I do think that it would also be nice to see one that's a little wider
Thanks Matt.
I should have had it on F5.6 but was messing with the carmera and went from Manual to AV then the next time I looked up he was there so I took the shot.
This shot is at its widest.
Morning all, I have been keeping an eye out on this thread and not seen an actual photo thread for the Olympic Flame journey started yet so I thought I would start here and hopefully others will join in
I would have liked to have had a shot of them lighting the next torch but as you can see from my photo us Barnsley lot don't get out much.
But when we do it's "one out all out"
Nottingham last Thursday (June 28th). Torchbearer before the ice center, and then a different one coming out.
Also got a shot of one of the outriders (motorised), giving a helping hand to an outrider (pedal) up a hill. He was literally pushing him up the hill at about 3mph. Any bikers out there will know how hard this is!
