Spent ages trying to get close to these and always fail... then one day they get too close to me

I had a similar experience with one of our local otters.
I tracked it up and down the river and lay in the wet, frosty grass.
Rattled off a few shots then it came so close that I couldn't focus.

Cheers Mike, this was on the limit, I mashed the camera into my face for the extra distance

Cheers, I normally only see the blur of escape I'm working on a few, some have entered the village for food and safety, as their breed on the farm for shooting
