Hi
I have an xe-1 currently and a lovely leather half case.
Can anyone tell me if the x pro 1 is the same size?
X-pro 1 is a bit bigger all round

I'll post a pic of it later, but $150 is only the price of 2 pints of beer in HKWOW!!! I looked at loads, settled on a Gariz. You HAVE to post a photo of a $150 soft release!!!!
Ah - I remember - I hadn't realised you meant HKD!! My bad!I'll post a pic of it later, but $150 is only the price of 2 pints of beer in HK
Any of you guys moved from full frame to the Fuji system? Really love the fuji colours, more so than Nikon but still unsure if it's the right choice for landscape photography.

I have completely dropped my FF system and moved over to the X Series. The X-T1 being my primary body and X Pro 1 backing it up. The combination of traveling light, superb Fuji and Zeiss optics combined with in-camera functions made my decision for me. It wasn't a snap choice, I just found myself using the X-Pro 1 more and more whilst my FF gear started to gather dust.
Nick,
Thats good to hear - I'm looking at replacing a D800 with an X-T1 and have my eye on an X-Pro to go along side it - I think I saw in the XT1 thread your using the 10-24mm, how do you find it?
Yep, moved from D700 and all the big lenses. Now I do far more photography and grab the camera at every opportunity.Any of you guys moved from full frame to the Fuji system? Really love the fuji colours, more so than Nikon but still unsure if it's the right choice for landscape photography.

So you guys that have switched from FF to the Fuji, did any of you consider the Olympus em1 or any others before settling on the X system and what made up your minds?

After a bad experience with an Olympus a few years ago, compounded by their laughable customer service, I wouldn't have one again. I do have a couple of 1series Nikons which I use with F mount lenses but much prefer the handling of the Fujis. So you guys that have switched from FF to the Fuji, did any of you consider the Olympus em1 or any others before settling on the X system and what made up your minds?
... I never got on with the small dslr style form factor (same reason as why I'm using the X-Pro 1 rather than the X-T1) - also found the 2x crop factor too limiting when working with legacy lenses
Just brought another one s/h with grip & spare battery £400 + £10 post
Good price, any more like that of is that a one off ?
I need to find a couple of soft releases with longer threads 'cos I keep losing mine and at £3 a pop, it's getting expensive!
Thanks for the nod on this. I've been looking around for one as a final accessory for my XP1 - that's just too good a deal to miss! Not sure I'l use the Arca Swiss plate, but it's there if I do!Just a quick heads up that there are some xpro1 grips on ebay at the moment for £23.80 shipped from HK. Arca Swiss plate and access to the battery compartment. They are by Neewer so it's going to be good quality and looks exactly like the ishoot grip (which I have on my X-E1 and is brilliant). For 24 notes it's an utter steal. Already got my order in!
I'm in two minds about grips. I have large hands so I can appreciate their usefulness but I bought the XP because it's small, lightweight and less intrusive than an SLR and I don't want to change that by bolting bits on to it
Interesting that you're a wrist-strap-user, Si.
I ditched the neckstrap and bought a Footprint leather wrist-strap. So much more comfortable and useable.
Any wrist strap recommendations?
