Thanks for the info. What or where is this tab on nikon lenses?

I too have been looking for a teleconverter. The kenko teleplus pro 300 after looking at the reveiws on Amazon seems to work on my NIkon d3200 ok so check out Amazon and B&H photography for your camera and teleconverter combination.The reviews seem to be real people to me.

I have seen a lot of Nikon af-s300 mm f4 lenses for sale and a few mention squeaky noise coming from them. Slightly concerned about purchasing used one and a year down the road it dies.

Lots of choice out there in telephoto lenses. I purchased the af-s55-200 dx vr and it produces very sharp images on my nikon d3200. I have seen lots of images taken with the tamron 18-400 new lens and it looks very sharp but the price can be high. I usually purchase used lenses and research on...

Hi I use the site "DXOmark" to review lenses and how they will work with my camera.

I have read lots of opinions on the quality of both these lenses. It appears to me they both produce sharp images. I can get the sigma cheaper but want advice?
