    Misty Trossachs

Thanks for all the likes and comments everyone(y). Apologies for my delayed response  Thank you Dave, I have a soft spot for no.2 myself. Thank you Ian, the figured walk into position right on cue! Cheers Steve, I had a few doubts on one, maybe contrast lacking? Thank you Patrick, I...

    Rucksack recommendations....

Primarily for rucksack size and total weight carried. For example a summer only camper might find 50l size adequate as you don't necessarily need such a thick mat or more insulation, thermals, crampons, axe or sturdier tent. Conversely carrying a winter set-up in summer can be quite...

    Rucksack recommendations....

I've got a 65l (+15) and generally summit camp and that just about right volume wise. Is winter camping part of the plan?

Can I use my Android phone as a hands-free megaphone?

What about old tech walkies talkies with a VOX function? Sounds like a solution but depends on what you deem inexpensive.

    Car trouble (wash/wipe)

A generic Halfords one might work, depends on inner diameter of tubing. If so check the flow direction before you install. Can you get to the connector and remove it? I see you can get fluid to come out but is that with the connector still attached to the main reservoir tube or is the tube...

    Car trouble (wash/wipe)

My "straight-through" connecting joint between hoses (Honda) is actually a small one-way valve. One bad winter somehow managed to damage the small spring/ball leading to virtually no water coming out the front jets. £5 part and problem solved.

    Ben Arthur

I bought a 70-200 so first real attempt at a 200mm landscape. This twin-peaked mountain, more commonly known as The Cobbler stands approximately 884 metres high and was shot from an elevation of 461m at a distance of 25 kilometres. It's also around a 50%crop, 3:1 ratio.

Landscape Vlogs - Is it just me

Yeah I'm subbed to Renegade Scots channel too, he does seem like a decent likeable guy. Dan Bell is another fave, funny lad. His style is unique, injects fun and humour. You'll probably never learn anything technical from his channel but you will laugh. It is another take on landscape vlogs...

Landscape Vlogs - Is it just me

Scotland's Mountains is one I've been subbed to for a few years now. It is more of a walking, camping, sometimes climbing vlog, he never or rarely talks about gear or processing, yet hauls his drone and camera up and shows Scotland in all seasons at its most brutal yet beautiful. If you want...
