    Inspire 1 feedback

Some good pointers there, thanks! I did try several times at going through the hole in the rock, but bottled it at the last second. I wanted a smooth approach to the rock, through it and out, but I was around 30ft above the drone so had no perspective of where the drone was in terms of where...

    Beginner Family shoots?

A good way to gauge reaction to the photo is in real time is to use tethered capture with a monitor displaying the shots to the families. You should be able to tell instantly if they like them, Lightroom has this function and is quite easy to use. Arm yourself with 3-4 poses and do the same...

    Inspire 1 feedback

I'll look into that! I was using Sony Vegas 12 but there's too much going on and I was getting distracted and a 3 minute 4k video was exporing at 66gb!! I have recently been using FCP but that is the opposite of vegas where as you are kind of limited with transitions and overlays. Thanks

    Inspire 1 feedback

Thanks! I agree with the hard movements and that is something I am working on, I should really get a 2nd controller for the video side of it. Although I would have to 100% trust who is operating the other controller whether it be flying or video capture, flying for obvious reasons. I need to...

Where do you buy your A3 frames...?

I have however made frames for canvases, some up to 6x4ft and that is actually making the frame not using stretcher bars. At the time I was able to get 6x4ft of canvas printed for £49 and was able to frame them for a great deal cheaper than some companies and I found them to be of better...

Where do you buy your A3 frames...?

Granted they are nothing special but the last time I had frames purpose built they cost a small fortune, which in turn pushed the prices of my framed prints higher than I would have liked too. These frames are of a good standard for the price and wipe the floor with the ones you can get for a...

Where do you buy your A3 frames...?

These are now on display in a local restaurant but the hanger is a metal square that bends out with half cut out to fit over a screw or hook I'd I remember right

A little help on photo sizing please

CMYK is a colour mode for printing, generally photos are shot in RGB mode. This can be changed in photoshop under the menu Image>Mode>CMYK. CMYK is the name for the colours used when printing: CMYK = Cyan Magenta Yellow Black (K). RGB = Red Green Blue

A little help on photo sizing please

Usually for large format prints they will require an file that is 300 dpi and in CMYK mode. With regards to the size the full sized photo off the camera should be sufficent as from a distance slight pixel blurring will not be seen. Will you be creating the file for print or will the print company?
