Personally I think this is a huge point to note. I think far too many photographers rely on PP to save the day, get the picture how you want it first and foremost.
Sometimes it can't be done or something is missed that you thought was right but try your best to get it right on camera first...
Camera is a Sony A77 with a Minolta 70-300 Lens. IIRC the length would have been somewhere around 400 due to the lens being from a 35mm? Does that make sense or have I been fed a crock of poop?
Settings:
ISO 800
f 5.6
Exposure 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/3200
I was messing about with HDR too which is...
Thought I'd put my first attempt at a moon shot for ridicule. Shots were taken hand held, so probably not the best. But things can only get better, right?
C&C Welcome as always
Thanks guys. I realise that the bridge bottom right is a bit distracting, wasn't sure whether to leave it or not, evidently I took the wrong option.
Cheers for the feedback.
Think I know what you've done if using CS6, you've uploaded the raw file from your drive, the raw files recognise the editing from previous saved edits (I forget the file name which it takes this data from, .psd or something), that's my guess.....or you're lying :ROFLMAO:
Thank you very much. I'm loving the new kit.
Which do you mean? Number 3 (last photo with new camera) or what would be number 4, last photo all together. Sorry if that's a dumb question, just curious :)
Wasn't sure where to put this, but this didn't seem like a bad guess.
Bought a new camera on Thursday (Sony Alpha A77) along with a couple of new lenses and went out to take some night time shots of a few of the bridges on the Tyne.
Loving the new camera. Such a delight compared to my old...
A couple of processed photographs of my cousins daughters which were taken over the weekend. Your opinions are very much welcome. I'm more used to working with still objects/scenery and not used to Portraits, but would like to work more with them.....as I have a shoot coming up soon for a friend...
You can on sony too, but not sure why you'd want to? Just shoot in raw, if the picture doesn't need editing just save as jpeg straight away, if it does, then edit it.
