I went from iPhone 4s to Samsung S5 and now on the Huawei P10....would never go back to iPhone, horrible to use. The Huawei has a lovely camera too.

My walkabout lens is a Nikon 18-200....it covers most things.

They may not be sharp but I actually like them. A nice feeling of movement.

Being able to drive would mean the ability to carry more/extra gear and cover more remote venues. You may hate driving but it may become a necessity. Perhaps it was a bad experience with the instructor?
