Bronica Sq-B with Mecablitz Metz fill in flash help

Right... Now i have computer access back. I think that the lighting isn't right in the first set of images, i would of preferred the model to be more lit but then i'm wary that the brighter the model is the the darker the background will be, it seems a lot of detail is being lost on the...

Bronica Sq-B with Mecablitz Metz fill in flash help

apologies for the delay in uploading the image. The scan has taken away most of the image quality but i hopefully you'll be able to get the gist of my problem. (excuse the pose and composition; just getting used to the camera with the flash) link to the larger image on flickr...

Bronica Sq-B with Mecablitz Metz fill in flash help

thanks i will try the Provia 100f in the future By key light do you mean what i've taken a reading of and set on the camera? (apologies for my ignorance) if so; 1 stops below as to what the manual advises. "To maintain a balanced range of highlights, for instance in order to retain the...

Iv'e been using a Bronica Sq-B (with a 80mm lens) with a Mecablitz Cl-1 in the daylight for full length portaiture with fill in flash but am really struggling to obtain natural looking images. I'm using fuji velvia 50 film and i've been bracketing 1 stop under and over (taking an incident...

    Couple shoot

Stunning, No. 4 & 5 are my favourites; the lighting and colouring are spot on IMO.

    Self portrait - comments ?

I really like it, it would be interesting to know how the image looked before the crop. Also i would clone out some of the area around the ear make it look a bit 'cleaner'.

    Vicky in a field

Yeh the sigma 10-20 on 1.6x crop sensor, "lollipop head" was what my girlfriend said of the pics of her. Ive never used it for people shots so was just having a little mess around -finding it very difficult to get flattering angles.

My first try at selective colouring

I like it...but i wish that there was all of the traffic light in the shot and maybe more of the road and scene, also i would probably clone out ??street-lamp?? joining the traffic light on the right hand side.

Thanks for the advice guys, I really struggle with shooting into the sun; overlooked the issues at the time :'( and feel a bit silly now as i think there was an opportunity of some good shots.

Took a few snaps of vicky by the side of the road today on the way back from tesco with a sigma 10-20 as there was quite nice light, did a bit of faffing on PP on them but i think theres still a problem with the blacks in pic 2. Id like to know what you guys think. 1. [/IMG] 2.

    Few Snaps from brother's wedding

A few quick candids from my brothers wedding in June, thought i might frame one and give it to him as a present. I'd like to know what you guys think of them and advice on any alterations needed. There scans of Ilford PAN400, taken on an EOS3000, which i got back from Snappy Snaps today which...

Advice on buying A4 photo printer please...

I have a Kodak ESP7 all in one for home use, i have no basis for comparison other than large prints done on a Epson Stylus Pro 11880 at uni, but for small prints 6x4 its fine, it does upto 8.5x11 borderless i believe. It is also incredibly cheap at the moment, around £59 from Comet i got mine...

    Scanning Old Prints

Hi, my girlfriend has a lot of old prints of her family which are of sentimental value to her and we wanted to frame a few, i was thinking of scanning in our home scanner and resizing them to frame but i was worried the scanning process might damage the prints as some of them are 40+ years old...
