I bought the 750 not so long ago and have found it to be a superb scanner, so ditto to everything mentioned above! I can't fault it! :) I find Digital ICE does a good job for removing the odd specs of dust left on the slides but of course as mentioned it makes a pig's ear of mono negs.

Ooooh looks lovely! So it does 6x6 and 6x7, cool! Not too big or heavy either, maybe worth getting rid of my beastly RB67 for one of these??? But a lot of money though, ouch! And is it fixed lens or removable?

Printing in the darkroom is fantastic fun! Also, very therapeutic in fact! I miss my college days.... *Imagines the boxes of paper, bottles of chemicals, the smell, the red light, the alcohol at the side!!* ;) Now he needs a decent scanner!!! lol! :D

I've got to say Delta 3200 is a brilliant film when exposed and developed at 3200! I just loved the grain and it's a fantastic film for low-light shots, turning streetlights into fuzzy balls of white!! Wonderful stuff! :D

OK well just having a play with one of my first scans. This is an image taken in Prague using a Bronnie ETRSi on a tripod, 75mm lens and Fuji Velvia. I scanned the slide at 24 bit, 3200 dpi (If that means much?? Not a lot to me!) which produced a 101MB TIFF file. Shown below is the reduced...

Scanner here now but still in box, will unpack tomorrow. And yes, I've promised myself to save all images to DVD, and damn I better stick to that promise as well!
