Good morning,
I'd really appreciate your advice on this....
Started getting more and more into photography (especially landscapes and macro) last year, but during the winter my practice sessions gradually got shorter and shorter, until they were reduced to nothing. In the summer I was...
I need to send someone a high resolution image. But I'm so confused about what 'high-resolution' actually means!! Have looked at various sites but still no clearer.
I have an image with a dimension of 1834 x 2695. I need it printed at least to standard size (6 x 4). The file size is only 217...
Oh, thank you. Will give that a try.
ND filters seem to range from the pretty cheap to reasonably expensive kits. How many do I need? What are you getting for the extra with the more expensive filters?
Thank you very much again.
I'm using Canon 600D and Sigma 18-250. I've tried every possible mode (including manual) but still having the same problem when trying to use slow shutter speeds.
Hello all,
I've been practicing with some nice coastal landscapes this week. Looking to capture the motion of the sea as it comes in and out. Thing is I can't get my camera to use a slow enough shutter speed. It just cranks the aperture right up to F/22, and the exposure dial gets stuck way...
Beautiful set! Particularly like 2. The light coming over him and the health land in the background give a lovely sense of calm and peaceful surroundings.
How far away are you when you're taking these? What sort of lens do you use?
Hello.
Bit confused about this...
What's the best way to check the resolution of an image? I'm most interested in what happens once they are printed.
I've been asked to supply high-resolution images (at least 200 DPI), which would be printed. All the images I have on my computer are 72 DPI...
Called off my practice session yesterday...which made me think...
This might sound like a silly question to some...but what if you need to take a picture in the rain? Obviously this assumes your camera is not waterproof. Do you use a weatherproof case? An umbrella:)? Or just avoid it...
You're right...:thumbs:but at the moment it's just a bit confusing so look for something to get me started so that I know what to look for when I'm there!
Do you think there might be an argument for saying that more visual methods work for some, while more mathematical approaches work better for others? It's just a question of finding what works for you?
