Thanks for the reply. The nice man from Colchester informs me that they just clip on, no need to take the gun apart. So, I've ordered the part, and should be up and running again shortly.

Update: Have emailed the Colchester Camera Repair people for a quote. Fingers crossed.

Evening all, I managed to drop my 580 EX II this evening. The flash appears to still work ok. The only visible damage is the AF LED cover that smashed. I can find a replacement panel for around £20. Having found a service manual on-line, it mentions all sorts of grease & stuff. Is that...

Ok. It seemed that you were wanting an automatic process ! I've not got a photo with GPS data in it, but PhotoMe ( http://www.photome.de/ ) seems to let you edit / update almost every other EXif entry. It's going to be a slow process though. Good luck. edit: Looks like the latest version...

Am I missing something here? How are you going to know what GPS data to transfer to any particular one of 1901 images ?

I voted for #1. #2 has 'punchier' colours, but not keen on the partial B&W conversion, and think the pencil points are lost in the shadows. Dave.
