    Help me decide

Cheers folks. Not 100% swayed either way yet, I just saw the L series lens in the shop so added it in to the mix. Probably more in favour of the D7100 at the moment

    Help me decide

after being without a decent camera for a couple of years, it's time to rectify the situation. My wife is treating me before I head off around Europe for a few weeks. The plan is on this trip to keep light and so I'm only planning on taking one lens. I have had Nikon and Canon before and have no...

    Beginner Starting out again.

Times were tough and I sold my old 20D after being made redundant, now things are on the up and it's time I got something better than the camera on my phone. My budget is a maximum of £500, I have a few trips away this year (Already missed one which a decent camera would have been wonderful but...

    starting a fresh

I had a 20d sold it whilst out of work and have slowly built up the funds to start over again now I'm back in work and was looking at a 70d which I planned to buy in the next couple of months. All was going to plan until I was given notice of redundancy, at least the wife is now working. Now I...

If your considering a bigger lens, if you don't plan to use it too often what about hiring one?

    Lens hire

I've used lenses for hire in the past, really simple process order online and the lens is delivered, use it then arrange postage back. They offer insurance which I have just in case. The lenses I have hired have been in good condition. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and probably will soon.

    Lens for 20D

My daughter is a keen little trampolinist and has her first competition coming up, being proud dad I'd like to take some pictures, so will need a better lens for the day then my 18-55 that currently sits on my 20D, I'm looking to hire one for the weekend. The same weekend it is the local...

    Which old DSLR for £200

I bought a 20D a couple of months back with an 18-55 lens for £150ish, I'm loving it but really need to get to understand it better than I currently do, and it takes great pictures as well.

    Inchy winchy

I recently bought a Eos 20d with a 18-55 lens, anyway last weekend I took a few shots in overcast conditions and they were all too dark, so this afternoon I thought it was time to explore a bit better so I would go and play in the garden and take some pictures of the blue bells, well this...

    Older kit

Bought myself a 20d on ebay for a good price, with the 18-55 lens and a few bits thrown in, so should be here for next weekend, which is good as I'm going to an event where it will get some use, just toying if to go with the 18-55 to get used to things or hire a better lens for the weekend.

    Older kit

Now I had my heart set on a 60d or 7d but it's too much for me to shell out at the moment, coupled with the fact I'm not sure if it's the right path for me as it will be my first dslr, so i'm thinking about getting something older and used. Now I've seen the 40d recommended more than once, but...

    Photographing grand kids at football

I wouldn't worry as others have said just turn up and shoot, when I used to coach colts rugby several parents used to video the game. If you do want to go down the crb route you can't as an individual get one from the english crb office but can from the scottish crb office even if you reside in...
