    Dorrington Water Tower

Well it works! Are there any monuments/anything of interest to photograph at Whittle's house? Wasn't expecting to see his name pop up when clicking on this thread haha. I'm currently studying aero engineering at university so Whittle's work is of particular interest to me.

I like this! The contrast of white on red is great.

    Canon Over The City

I thought the first was a HDR, I'm not usually a fan but this is nice and subtle. Good job!

Love the colours in the first one! Was it a single exposure and did you have to do much editing to get the colours like that?

    Snowy Forest

Nice shot, I need to find some woods near me as I'd like to try a similar shot for myself. lolage, he is using a wide angle lens! It says so in the flickr description and exif info shows it was at 16mm!

    Lee and Hitech adapter rings?

I was more referring to the price difference between the HiTech 'standard' and 'wide' adapters. 2x the cost for the wide version!

    Royal Air Force Aircraft

I've never heard of Tebay before but I'm guessing that's up by the lakes. Somewhere else on my list of places to visit! I've only managed to get down there a couple of times as it's quite a way for me. First time I was there was much more interesting though with a couple of Tornados and C130...

    Lee and Hitech adapter rings?

Haha if there were some chinese 100mm adapters then I would definitely be buying some straight away! I think I will eventually suck it up and buy the Hitech kit in the summer, purely because it's the only option!

    Lee and Hitech adapter rings?

I've been pondering over a filter kit for a while now because the additional cost for the wide angle adapter ring makes me wince. They cost twice the price of the normal adapters and there's no way they should cost much more to make! I just hate the feeling of being ripped off, especially when...

    Royal Air Force Aircraft

Love the first one! Need to get to an RAF base at some point. Last time I went to the Mach loop nothing went through :(

    New years resolensons!

I would like to replace my Sigma 18-200 with a Canon 70-200 f/4 before I start going to air shows in the summer. I'd also like a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 and a better tripod than my crappy Jessops one!

Paraglider in Geneva prepping his chute

Stumbled upon this while on holiday. It was great seeing them jump off the edge of the mountain! Taken from Mont Salève looking towards Geneva. You can see the Jet d'Eau looking tiny in the background. Geneva Paragliders by M Whiten, on Flickr

Our poor dog, he's forever being dressed up like a girl.

Here's my buddy, Max, modelling my sisters scarf for us. At first he was complacent, then he started getting fed up with having to sit still. _MG_8479.jpg by M Whiten, on Flickr _MG_8476.jpg by M Whiten, on Flickr He'll soon have more to complain about when we dig out the...

    Just a friendly Swiss duck

This one wouldn't leave me alone! I was feeding her from my hand, very friendly indeed. Taken in Geneva a couple of months ago. IMG_7819.jpg by M Whiten, on Flickr IMG_7793.jpg by M Whiten, on Flickr

Loving the first one, what a great capture! I need to get out early some time once it's frosty again.
