Are there any monuments/anything of interest to photograph at Whittle's house? Wasn't expecting to see his name pop up when clicking on this thread haha. I'm currently studying aero engineering at university so Whittle's work is of particular interest to me.

lolage, he is using a wide angle lens! It says so in the flickr description and exif info shows it was at 16mm!
I've never heard of Tebay before but I'm guessing that's up by the lakes. Somewhere else on my list of places to visit!

Haha if there were some chinese 100mm adapters then I would definitely be buying some straight away! I think I will eventually suck it up and buy the Hitech kit in the summer, purely because it's the only option!
I've been pondering over a filter kit for a while now because the additional cost for the wide angle adapter ring makes me wince. They cost twice the price of the normal adapters and there's no way they should cost much more to make! I just hate the feeling of being ripped off, especially when...
I would like to replace my Sigma 18-200 with a Canon 70-200 f/4 before I start going to air shows in the summer.
I'd also like a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 and a better tripod than my crappy Jessops one!
