    Beginner Delayed flash

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with using my speed light on aperture mode and have finally run out of patience so am hoping someone can help. I have a Nikon D5100 and Yungnuo YN565EX speed light and it works fine in auto mode however I dislike the lack of control it gives me. I've tried to...

Beginner Feedback on a few pictures i took

I really like the shots of the snail and the sunset. In my own opinion I think the bird shot could do with a quicker shutter speed to remove the motion of the wings as its a little distracting. I'd also maybe have shot the water orchid at f5 or 6 as the depth of field is a little shallow for my...

    Has anyone used lovegroveshop.com

Thanks very much for the replies and appreciate the alternative sites. It's always good to have other options.

Wonderful thanks very much. Now to decide whether to go for the 7 or 10.

    Has anyone used lovegroveshop.com

Hi, I'm looking around for a Think Tank Retrospective 7 or 10 and lovegroveshop.com seems to have the best price, the only problem is that I've never heard of them (showing my ignorance). Damien Lovegrove is obviously well known but is the website reputable and has anyone used the site to...

Beginner Nikon DX 55-300 or 55-200?

I'd echo all of the above. I read tons of reviews and forums to see whether the Nikon or Tamron 70-300 was the best and the Tamron appears to just edge it, especially for the price.

    Beginner Editing on IPad

I've used snapseed on the iPhone and really liked it but apparently it can't process RAW files. Photogene supposedly can process RAW so that might be worth a try if you shoot in that format.

    Another new bag thread

Thanks for all of the advice everyone. I've certainly got a lot of options now to have a look through.

    Another new bag thread

Irritatingly there aren't many bricks and mortar stores round here, only a currys locally and a jessops and small independent who don't appear to carry much in the way of accessories about 45 minutes drive away.

    Another new bag thread

Hi, I'm looking for a new bag as I've outgrown my current one and am looking for advice as 99.9% of you on here are infinitely more knowledgeable than me. I've currently got a Nikon D5100, 18-55mm kit lens, 35mm prime and a Yongnuo YN565EX flash but am also looking to add a 70-300mm lens (either...

What Nikon D3200 lens for landscape and portrait with a low aperture

I've seen comments on other forums that the 35 will be just wide enough for landscapes on the D3200 and better for indoor portraits as the 50 can be a little tight. I've only got the 35 and don't generally take landscape shots but the best advice really is Stumeechs about looking at your most...
