Hi all. can anyone recommend a flash for my a7iii please, im not up on flashes so have no idea, doesnt need to be the best as it wont get much use, but as the camera doesnt have a flash id like to have one, had one for my D800 and was useful to own, thanks, lee

Roger that mate I do have the proper ones for the sensor. And I washed the eye piece and dried it with a hair dryer. And finished with lens wipe. I’m a bit of a cowboy. Was going to use my toothbrush

Just looked for a new one and most of them are just for the ring. No glass so though they might of done.

How do you get the glass out of the ring. As I could clean it better that way. Tried to push it but did t want to bust it.

That’s brilliant thanks. Took the rubber ring off. Located a tiny screw in the top and off it popped. Cleaned the big bit with an ear bud. And the culprit is either the metal ring or the glass.

Hi chaps. Just noticed on my D800 round the view finder there is some orange mark. Mainly on the bottom. But on closer inspection it looks all the way round like it might be a seal. Maybe gone bad. Photos make it look worse than it is. Any ideas of what it is. Doesn’t affect the view or...

thanks chaps, plenty of food for thought there, im leaning to a second hand Sony A7 iii off ebay, watching a few just to get a jist of prices, dont really want the kit 24-70, just saw one sell for £1400 that had a 50mm f1.8 lens and a stutter count of only a few hundred, going to keep my D800...
