    Which flash?

Thanks for replying Hoppy. I did look at the AD200 but the price difference put them out of budget. Modelling lights would be useful - I used to use studio flash back in film days. However, with the sort of things we are going to be using them for trial and error is fine, and we can review the...

    Which flash?

Thanks Phil, having just replied to Mike that further confirms what I thought. And we can stretch to the Ving so will probably go for those. And in true University Challenge mode, a supplementary question. We have stands and brollies, what would be the best soft boxes for them?

    Which flash?

Thanks Mike, I actually have a Fuji - the "s" was there as a plural rather than the Sony version, but your comments confirm what I thought. So basically three TT685 flashes and two different X1T controllers should be suitable - neither of us use on camera flash.

    Which flash?

OK, so the title is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string! type question, but I think I have narrowed it down to a couple of setups. They are both Godox and I would like to know which would be best for what I want. The setup I was originally considering was three Godox TT685s with a...

    ffordes break in..!

Given his posts in other threads (one in particular concerning homeless people which resulted in him going on my ignore list then) I doubt very much any such apology would be forthcoming.

    Buying second hand Mpb

Afraid I can't help you with that - I was answering the other part of the question :)

    Buying second hand Mpb

All sorts of reasons why they might do that. I sold some equipment there recently that I described as Excellent - they upgraded almost all of it to Like New and increased their offer. Some people are more careful with their gear than others.

    Bored with my own shots.

Nothing to do suggest, but when I saw your post I read it as "Bored with my own shorts". Caused some amusement here :)

    Beginner Camera not increasing ISO

If you don't have the manual, you can download it from here. As stated above when a flash is attached it is set at 400, though on pages 122-123 it tells you what settings are used for auto ISO in other modes, and how you can adjust them.

    MoMA Seeing through photographs

@sirch, @Tori_T - I am happy for the other thread to be locked and have a redirect to here. This one has the more sensible title :)

    Beginner Camera not increasing ISO

I don't know the 70D, but auto ISO often has an upper limit that can be set. It may be that yours is currently set not to go higher than 400 but this should be changeable in the settings.

    MoMA Seeing through photographs

That was my thread here. I have started, and did the first week and then went on holiday! Back home now so going to catch up this week. Like what I I've done so far.

    Mifsuds Brixham

As I don't actually need anything it doesn't bother me. Just would have been nice to have had a look as I have bought from them before.

    Mifsuds Brixham

On holiday in Brixham this week, and haven't managed to get there yet as their opening hours are not good. If they aren't even keeping to them I have no chance!

Reading photographs - free online course

Interesting, as it certainly isn't, unless it is a warning for those who don't want to overthink their photography :)
