I think the sad truth is that the newer raw files aren't supported by lightroom 6 :/ I've switched over to Capture One Fuji, as some other here in the thread as well. Added benefit: no longer supporting Adobe ;) Alternatively you could go via the route of DNG conversion first. Edit: Whoops, too...

One more from looking through my photos... Taken in Madrid, summer 2019 with the X-T1 and 23mm f1.4 (somehow the exif data got scrambled on this one) A

I've got a 12" Macbook from 2016 (the small ones with no fan...) at the moment. Lightroom is slow and no fun. CaptureOne Fujifilm Express (the free version) is about 100x faster (well that's what it feels like) for all the editing. Exporting still takes a while, but what really got me with...

I've got a Thinktank retrospective 5 in slate blue. I love it, it doesn't look too much like a cambera bag. But just googling for it I saw that they have a v2 now - which removed my favorite colour (slate blue) and also somehow made it uglier. I don't use it too much anymore though. If I take...

Going through some older images while still mostly stuck at home... Here's one with the 55-200 on the X-T1. Whales feeding off California

MITAKON SPEEDMASTER 35MM F0.95 for Fuji

This looks like a lovely lens. I've been on-and-off with manual focus lenses before (never 0.95 though). My main problem is that whenever I had super fast lenses in the past (e.g. f1.2 on full frame), they are like the proverbial hammer to me... Everything starts looking like a nail. I stop...

Hm Wex still has at 899, but Amazon went up. Maybe just an availability thing? Not sure if they're going to continue selling it in general with the X-T4 out?

Thanks, I hadn't really thought about the x-h1! Hm I'll have to think about that again. Most of the time there are people in shots and I prefer wide angles, hence my feelings towards ibis. But still, the H1 is rather cheap now too, so the perceived value of ibis isn't that big a factor there.

I'm thinking about upgrading my body finally (currently using the x-t1...). I always wanted the x-pro3, but I just saw that with the X-T4 coming out, the X-T3 is heavily discounted everywhere. As in ~£1600 for the x-pro and ~£900 total for the X-T3. What do you guys think, is the T3 a total...

Amazing! How did you do the editing on this one? I love the contrast editing.

I love that breed! And the camera lens combo of course. But I guess with that much energy in the dog, you can only really get pictures sitting, no?

Prime lens travel - what's your setup?

Hm, depends on how you define hard to beat. I have the 50-140 and don’t really take it much in unplanned trips... i had the 55-200 before and it was much nicer for travelling. I guess it boils down to how much you value “covering just about anything“ over total weight, size, etc. A second fast...

Prime lens travel - what's your setup?

Oh I actually meant prime lenses (fixed as in fixed focal length), not necessarily fixed as in fixed on the camera. The 35mm on the A7 is a great combo, tried it when traveling with a mate who has them. For me it's really the sweet spot.

Prime lens travel - what's your setup?

Hi all, While I'm currently not going very far from my house, I'm dreaming about the next trips (that will hopefully be possible at some point...) After I switched from Canon to Fuji 6 years ago, I've mostly only taken prime lenses on trips. I've tried a lot and the setup that seems to work...
