    MOvember!

Good on everyone having a pop this year, I'll be joining in also, but already on a team with work, the Heavy Mo Mob. Cracking cause and an awesome excuse to grow a 'stache!

    Any Chinese Water Dragon keepers?

I've wanted one for quite some time now. They're beautiful creatures and the prospect of being able to handle them is very appealing, but I have a few questions, mostly pertaining to habitat. There's a wealth of information online, unfortunately it's all very contradictory. Some say that you...

James Herbert - 'Ash' for 20p!

Why don't I have a Kindle?! Nearly bought Ash the other day, but couldn't bring myself to spend nearly £20 on a book. I'll just wait and get it from the library or a charity shop. My Nan was at James' daughter's wedding some years ago. His brother ran a fish stall outside my Nan's launderette...

    Should the police be armed

With respect Ally, a lot has changed since the 80s. A decent modern armour will offer swignificantly more protection than they currently have, especially to vital organs, even in a grenade blast. I'm not saying that it would have mitigated the threat entirely, but the difference could have been...

    Should the police be armed

:agree: This, totally. And it gives rise to another question re. police equipment: As I understand it, your run-of-the-mill garden variety police officer is equipped with baton, radio etc, and a soft-armour stab vest. Should they wear ceramic plate & kevlar helmet when responding to a 999 call?

    Should the police be armed

Should the police be armed? I'd say so now, yes. The argument of 'arm the police & the crims will just arm themselves' is no longer valid; it's painfully obvious the criminals are already arming themselves. Criminals don't want to get slotted; in my opinion the reason that this scumbag handed...

    Red Dwarf X

I'm going in with an open mind. I actually didn't mind BTE, wasn't as good but it was still entertaining. I think the issue will be if they're still writing them as late twenties to early thirties. They need to be writing the characters at the age of the actors or it's just going to be sad

    Studio starter kits ??

Can't say fairer than that Richard; it's not something I've had masses of experience with. I only break them out for shooting at home where's there's no room to jump around  I do like that if I have issues with them I can tie in a visit to Lastolite (in Coalville) with a trip to see...

cyclist killed in Spalding - can you help?

Absolutely Sarah, I'd say verging on murder in my eyes. To accidentally hit someone is a tragic accident, but to deliberately leave them there to die is just horiffic and shows a deep disregard for human life the same as any murderer.
