Just bought a Godox flash from them which arrived in a few days. Have bought from them in the past without issue. Not sure what the experience would be if I had to return anything. Think I’d buy local for high value items in case of a return.

Ok thanks. Yes, I saw his wasp image taken with the 90mm macro. Incredible shot. This is what prompted my question really. There appears to be lots of people posting images taken with them, but none available to buy new in the UK.

That’s correct. My question was: Are they available to purchase in the UK at this time? It’s odd that most UK web stores say that they are only available for pre-order, so I would guess not. Where did you get yours, if you don’t mind me asking?

Does anyone in the UK own the OM Systems 90mm macro? If so, was it purchased in the UK? Most UK sites say that it is available to pre-order (as opposed to being out of stock). However it looks as though it was released in Feb this year?

I love my M6 MkII ! It’s a fantastic camera which does about 80% of what my DSLR can do. I find I grab this more often than not due to the size and weight.

There’s no such thing! ;) Joking aside, the Laowa range of macro lenses are excellent for the money. The Raynox DCR-250 Macro Attachment lens are also popular. Maybe also have a look into lens reversing adaptors, if it’s possible on your camera and lens tubes. All cheap ways of starting out...

I had the Canon mp-e 65mm for years, so I’m pretty used to it. IBIS helps if you have it and focus peeking helps even more. Try not shooting at 5x until you are used to it. Try 2-3x. Modelling lights (if your flash has them) also help at these magnifications. Also try shooting a burst of shots...

I have the 25mm 2-5x and the new-ish 90mm 2x (both RF mount). They are both very sharp and the CA is well controlled. They are great lenses as long as you are happy with manual focus (which in most cases you will anyway at those magnifications). If you have focus peeking then this helps a lot...
