DS clour labs paper icc profiles

My dscolourlabs prints have always come out quite abit darker than the image on my calibrated monitor , or my uncalibrated MacBook Pro monitor. I always brighten the each JPEG as the final processing step before uploading it for printing which works for me.

    Nikkor 28mm f1.8

It's a very sharp lens, I liked mine a lot. I got abit fed up with the focal length though, and ended up selling it to get a 35mm (to use alongside a 50mm&85mm). I much preferred the 35mm focal length...

    Damned e6ay buyers!

My friend sold a lens on eBay last year. The buyer dropped it a few days after receiving it, claimed it was posted like that and recieved a full refund from eBay. My mate was left with a completely broken lens and nothing show for it. Since then I've only bought stuff from there. Wouldn't risk...

    NIKON 35mm F1.4 AFS v Sigma 1.4 ART

My sigma 35mm is probably my favorite and sharpest lens. It's worth checking that you've updated the lens to the latest firmware with the USB dock - I bought a used one on here which was presumably an early model. It was spectacular on my D700. A year or so later I got a D810 and the...

Nikkor 70-200mm F2.8E FL ED VR

It seems like a strange lens to update, as the vr2 is so good already...

    Nikon Lens Repair Recommendations

I used fixation last year for a repair on a lens and they were great. Very helpful and quick turnaround. I've no idea how they compare cost wise compared to getting Nikon to do the repair though.

    One lens only, lets play

I was thinking exactly the same thing!

    One lens only, lets play

If I had to choose just one focal length I'd go with anything around 35mm on full frame.

    ''Legendary'' DSLRs

D700 would be my choice. I'm Biased I guess as I owned one, but I used one again the other day alongside my D810 and had forgotten just how good it was (released 2008 I think).

No more Samsung in the UK

With the exception of Canon/Nikon, 60% of retail price is about standard for competition prizes

    Wide angle lens (nikon fit)

It also vignettes fairly heavily wide open at f1.8

    Wide angle lens (nikon fit)

Useable. From f2.8 it was very sharp though. I was happy using it over my Nikkor 24-70 2.8 for landscapes etc. There was a thread on here about it a year or two back.

    Wide angle lens (nikon fit)

I used a Sigma 20mm f1.8 prime on a D700 for along time and was always very impressed with it, particularly stopped down from f2.8.
