That is certainly one option.
I'm looking specifically at a cloud option as it can be fully automated, incrementally updated (updates are important as files will be added on a regular basis) and I don't need to be concerned with the hardware and its eventual failure.
Some background info... I've a Synology NAS with about 14TB used for the storage of my family's photos, videos and back-ups. I've a full local back-up and partial off-site back-up. Currently, I'm considering the possibility of having a full NAS back-up stored in the cloud as a disaster...
Sounds like a software bug which you encountered in a very specific set of circumstances. I wouldn't worry about it, but you could look to see if there are any firmware updates available for your router.
You can buy various adapters and holders which can offer a tripod bush or compatibility with GoPro attachments. It's quite a versatile piece of kit. Not weatherproof, though, and it's a lot taller than a GoPro.
I guess that's coming from experience!

To me, this digital interpolation is a bit like if Flickr applied some of their own post-processing (without your asking it to) to any photos you upload to it and changing the way it looks. It significantly changes the viewer's experience so I don't understand why it's so prevalent...
I recently got a LG 4K TV and it displays at 60Hz which I find unpleasing to watch. Instead of being absorbed by the thing I'm watching, I constantly think how weird it looks and I can't seem to find any option to reduce the refresh rate.
Is it just me that doesn't like watching 60Hz?
