Hi Dave, pretty much as out of the camera, i think i may have used a tiny bit of dodging and burning on the steam for this one and slightly played around with the highlights, but being on a charter we can get as much smoke as we like :) Hope this helps buddy All the best Matt :)

Morning all, Just thought i'd post a few recent steam pics that i've taken this year :) This year and also last has all been about celebrating Mallards 75th year of taking the speed record for a steam loco, an impressive 126mph down Stoke bank. So with this in mind we have done a few charters...

lovely shots bud, that first one is a belter, the light the angle all works so well, cracking effort, RIP though to Eggman, he died doing something he truely loved, and it was such a shame they couldn't fly on sunday as a tribute, but i guess safety has to come first in this sorta situation, but...

cheers matt, i'm using a very basic set up at the moment lens wise, a 50mm 1.8 such a cracking little lens for the money, i paid about 70 quid for mine brand new of kerso of here and a 75-300 very simlier if not the same as this...

have to arrange a small meet up then lads :) will have a few more photos up shortly from the bluebell railway this weekend
