Thanks Wayne but I'm not an expert .....I just think the trick for possible looking 3d landscapes etc is light direction so a rule of the thumb is never shoot at midday and of course what's in the subject helps. And debatable in that I find some lenses give you more luck for 3D?????
..and who has tripped with a telephoto lens on their camera and landed camera nose first.........erm me:rolleyes: happened years ago with a Pentax S3, lucky the ground was fairly soft and the 135mm lens was OK but the mounting plate on the camera was bent.
Well I never did large B/W prints in the darkroom as too many spot etc..but for 35mm colour film I took a shot with Canon 28mm and superior 200 and my son had a pro lab enlarge it to about 16 X 24???? and what ever tricks the pro did it was fantastic erm well it should be.......framed and cost...
On the electronic cameras, my F4 and F90x................ the shutter and exposure meter work without winding on to start (No film). Also got a EM but can't be bothered to check without putting in a battery, anyway can't remember if it shows exposure meter reading.
erm what about if you don't put a film in? My F4 fires etc without film. Can't check my FM as it's developed a fault in that the batteries have started to short out and drain in a few hours
Well I love shooting film but I'm probably like a few here who have run out of subjects to shoot o_O.....what would I do with a slr or mirrorless digi camera that could take 50,000 shots when I have a job getting through 36 exp on film
(y) There can be "magic" using film with a combo of lens and film, as I have noticed quite a few times the results are better than you see by eye.......esp 3D and with the excitement of seeing the results back from the developers..............erm well OK it can also be worse.:(
Old and new cameras ? I noticed pointing my cameras at the spagetti type light bulb (forgot what it's called) from a set distance and noticed modern cameras gave the same readings but old cameras were all over the place, but all the same outdoors.....erm well just saying o_O;)
My epson 4180 runs perfect on win 11, can't see why even the epson 1000 series wouldn't work on win 8.1 (or win 11). Pentax pete was using a 1000 series maybe if he noticed this thread he would chip in.
Another (y) for Etrsi with AEII prism and speed grip, also the lenses are VG, also you get 15 shots. I've used Rolleis but wasted paper doing my own printing (in the darkroom) by not cropping :(, erm maybe you can buy sq paper now o_O......the speed grip allows you to take vertical shots so...
