She said she'd like to bathe in milk, he said, "All right, sweetheart, " And when he'd finished work one night he loaded up his cart. He said, "D'you want it pasturize? 'Cause pasturize is best, " She says, "Ernie, I'll be happy if it comes up to my chest."

    Aviation photography

I'm late to this thread, sorry... I would have suggested a Lumix G9; it's not a small body so handling is DSLR like. If you're serious about aerial photography though, C150/C152/C172 are worth getting checked out on. You can fly with the windows open, and the high wing is easier to shift out...

    Karts

Just a couple from the set I posted on the Panasonic G Series Owners' thread. I'm fairly pleased with these but know there's room for improvement.

First go with the G9 yesterday. The lens was Lumix 45-150 f3.5-f5.6. Not being the brightest of sparks, I realise having reviewed them that there are some things I should have set before shooting, but will change for next time; i) I should have used the widest possible aperture, ii) I think a...

Thanks Rich. I didn't make the swap particularly for an improvement in stabilisation, I had an opportunity for an upgrade and decided to go for it. I also tried an Olympus M1 mk2, and so much wanted to like it but couldn't get on with the menus. G80 to G9 is a much more straightforward path.

    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

Hi folks. I have just swapped my G80 for a G9 and am finally trying to get my head around the image stabilisation system. I read that it’s meant to provide “up to 5 stops” of stabilisation. I’m using the Olympus Pro 12-40 lens so completely understand that sensor stabilisation only is available...

    Borrowdale Mill

Nice one! I've also looked at it flipped with the branch leading in from the bottom left hand corner, and the stream flowing out to the bottom right hand corner. My brain finds that easier to read for some reason, maybe because I'm programmed to read left to right

Thanks for the links; much appreciated. It appears to me that the Burst Shooting options make the 6k Photo Mode somewhat redundant. There must be some reason why it's included though.

Any G9/Lumix Guru's here...? I've managed to acquire one from MPB, (like new condition, shutter count 600, very pleased) but's it's gone away to Santa. In the meantime, I'm trying to get my head around the manual but am struggling to understand the difference between shooting in a Burst Mode...

    Anyone used nextdaycamera.co.uk ?

Thanks for the link to the forum thread; does look like they sell grey/black market stuff but with excellent service! I've decided to buy used from MPB, and saved a few extra quids. Thanks again.

    Anyone used nextdaycamera.co.uk ?

As per the title., has anyone used nextdaycamera.co.uk I'm interested in an upgrade and they have some very keen prices. Working on the basis that if it's too good to be true etc, has anyone here had any dealings with them, for better or worse? Thanks in advance.

Sean Connery walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance, and then casually looks at his watch for a moment. The woman notices this and asks, "Is your date running late?" "No," he replies, "Q has just given me this state-of-the-art watch. I was...

My wife asked me what my ring tone was. I wasn't sure so I simply showed her. Turns out that the answer is "Medium Brown"
