Help needed printing a full colour logo onto a black card mount?

Hi guys, We use photovalue for our presentation mounts. They can foil block a single colour simple logo onto the black mounts. I have been asked by a client to provide mounts with a full colour logo on the mount, rather than putting the logo on the picture. So here is the question. Does anyone...

Does anyone know a good independent lens repair person?

As the title says. I have bought a used zoom that needs looking at. It has been to Nikon, but don’t want to pay their prices. I know of several bigger repairers such as Fixation etc, but I am looking for a an independent person with lower overheads that can give a reasonable quote. Any...

Does anyone know of Nikon lens rental in the Philippines please?

I have a commission in the Philippines next month and will need a spare long lens for 3 days out of a 3 week trip. It doesn't look like renting in the UK and then holding it onto it for the duration of the trip will be cost effective, so I am looking to know if anyone has been over there /...

Drifting at The Arctic Circle Raceway in Norway

    Motorsport Photography for a beginner

I don't know if it is of use, but I am running a seminar in a couple of weeks, have a look at the sticky at the top of the forum and let me know if it is any use to you, Thanks

    Panning - Not Quite Right

Nearly there with the comments above. The problem (more of a characteristic) is caused by the relative rotation of the vehicle in relationship to the sensor during the exposure. The point on the sensor which most closely matches the rotation of the car will be the sharpest, wherever that point...

    Equipment insurance

Glover and Howe, ask for Luke. I had to make a claim, and they were actually helpful. Be careful who you go with, and read the small print - many household policies don't insure equipment in a car, and even dedicated policies have stupid clauses like "only insured in a vehicle which doesn't...

    Public liability insurance.

Typically, PLi policies cost about £70-100 as a stand alone policy. Someone like "Glover and Howe" will insure your equipment and you get PLi included in the price. Depending how much your equipment is worth, you might get a really good "all in" deal. Bare in mind that different circuits require...

Calumet (U.S.A) closed down over night!

I believe that the UK side of things is a separate legal entity to the US. I hold motorsport photography seminars for them, and everything is fine. I have spoken to the head of retail and the accounts dept this afternoon, and the US trading side of things has no direct effect over here.
