Strange issue - corrupt JPEG files...but if you re-import them, they are OK

Tried a different SD reader last night (ancient USB 2.0 one!) and that work flawlessly, but slow! Got one of these coming today which I'm hoping will resolve things https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00VAGX6MW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've been through a few card readers...

Strange issue - corrupt JPEG files...but if you re-import them, they are OK

The plot thickens! Just tried a different camera and the same thing happens. Then, tried a different SD reader - no corrupt images Looks like my SD reader has broken? Thats weird - is this a common thing? It must be like 3+ years old - never had a problem with it before?

Anyone know a good internet radio app (like Last.FM) which will stream over DLNA?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a good source or good radio station/site which I can access through my phone, but output to my home network AV receiver? I use BubbleUPNP currently to stream my Google Music collection, but it would be cool if I could do similar with some internet radio, or...

    All-in-one PCs vs Mac

Been looking at Mini ATX builds and must admit I am very tempted!! Looking at £500 for a pretty solid i5 6600k build, using some components from my current PC. I had no idea the iMac wouldn't use proper desktop components, it has put me right off!

    All-in-one PCs vs Mac

Just doing some googling... am I right in saying that desktop CPUs (such as my current i5 2500k) are more powerful than the likes of those used in iMac? Struggling to figure out what the difference between Desktop CPU and Laptop CPUs is...other than desktop's being faster - I assumed the top...

    All-in-one PCs vs Mac

Hello all, I have asked a similar question a while ago, and am finally ready to be making the decision sometime shortly. Basically, to summarise.. I currently edit on a massive desktop PC tower system with 2 x 27" monitors, enough fans to practically take off, and external HDDs and USB drives...

I actually use Google Remote Desktop a lot, hadn't thought about that! That's a good shout. Would that go over the web? Is there anything like that which would use my LAN? Thanks :)

PC Upstairs - with access downstairs through monitor and remote laptop

I have a dream... Basically I am wondering if anyone could help me out with an idea I have had, enabling me to be downstairs with my family, but able to work on editing weddings downstairs (and do other PC tasks) without needing to be locked away in a separate room upstairs. I have no idea how...

    Setting up a home office

Steve Currently living on my own, so have free reigns to do pretty much what I want, when I want! I have my PC setup in my lounge, as I never watch TV anyway. I spend pretty much every night on it, between 5-10pm ish. Weekends usually working weddings at least one day per weekend. Being...
