1-640, af-c and what iso would you recommend please?

Only started taking photos as one of the other dads did it but left so I thought I’d have a go so I am totally new to photography, I am using a Nikon 55-300 lens on auto sports mode at the moment, any recommendations for settings would be greatly appreciated.

Errr thanks for that advice on the d7200! After doing a bit of research I came to the conclusion that this would be a good midrange camera that will be future proof medium term for me, that I can buy new lenses for as I go.

Right I may have upped the budget a bit, what are people’s thoughts on the Nikon d7200? Also any links or cheapest place to buy one would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks.

It’s the impact pressure I’m thinking about, probably best to stick a case on it.

Has anyone got one and used it underwater, it states it is safe to use to 10m with no waterproof case but I am wanting to use it for cliff diving so I would imagine I would need a waterproof case too?
