I wouldn't give up on shooting through the plexiglass.You do need to find a clean spot and get your ens as close to the glass aspkossible to stop reflections All the images on my Flickr are taken Through the Plexi,it definitely gives you a lower straight on perspective.Hope this helps !! Link...

I guess these are from the new rink at IAW ! Ive shoot there a couple of times and found that its really difficult shooting through the plexi.Personally,I would try and get up a bit higher along the Blue line where you can shoot over the Plexi. These are a couple from this position.Hope this...

Duncan, Managed to take some of the Steeldogs the night before against Swindon ! The light at the Link Centre is fantastic compared to what Im used to at Cardiff! Some ice captures,youre certainly getting to grips with your settings.I would not however recommend dropping your shutter speed...
