This is the first time I've done something like this. Next time I'll know to use a better camera and have a larger microSD card. Oh well.

The last days were very warm here. Up to 30°C, maybe even more, not sure. As for pinching their wings: I wouldn't do that, because the risk of damaging their wings and basically sentencing them to death would be too great for me.
Yesterday I recorded a video of me trying to pick up a damselfly with my finger from an aquatic plant and eventually succeeding. The damselfly stayed for several minutes on my finger and allowed me to record it from up close.

Thank you! Yes, these are damselflies. I wasn't aware that there is a distinction in English between dragonflies and "small dragonflies" aka damselflies. In Serbian (and German, which I also speak) they are called by the same name. Learning never stops. :)
