Ventured out late at the weekend to walk the dog and was convinced I could see the milky way so I went home and grabbed my camera. Being new to photography and astro I guessed settings and took loads of photos at different settings. This is the best one and am happy with it for a first attempt.

i dont mind second hand as long as good condition, but usually would buy new. day to day lens for me is something suitable for when out on walks with the dog in the country side and at work (im a gardener) so plants, wildlife etc (will be adding a seperate macro lens at some point). still new to...

Thanks. Uploaded as medium quality jpeg but using raw in affinity. Looking to make the right top corner look like left top corner. As I mentioned, its just a quick photo to learn editing on not because i like the image itself.

Hi I ended buying the Sony a6000 with a 18-50 and 55-200 lens. Loving it so far. Will the 18-50 be OK to shoot the lights (if I'm lucky enough to see them!)
