Nice captures :) I'm still waiting to have my camera to hand when the red kites land in my garden, huge birds when you see them on the ground.

Dont seem to have any luck haggling with jessops, wont knock anything off when i've tried. Got a better chance in a smaller "family run" type camera shop tbh. But then, their prices are generally higher anyway.

Got a 500 odd litre reef tank. Was going to make a post to see if there were any reefers on here :) Anyone on ultimatereef/thesaltybox? Miss having a nice planted tropical tank, think i'll have another 1 1 day.

I have never done skin smoothing in PS, as i have only just started shooting portraits i have not done any skin smoothing really so just used the preset skin smoothing in lightroom :) what would you use for skin smoothing in cs4?

Yes i'm pretty sure it just reduces the clarity of the area you select with the brush, it has a preset for soften-skin so i use that

Thankyou Shutterman, yes i have done some skin smoothing using the adjustment brush in Lightroom, it seems to work well, although now looking at them, i agree maybe the 3rd shot is a little overdone, need to practice making it look a little more realistic!
