I am a Doula, for those who don't know - that's a non medical birth companion. I have just acquired a D7000 and bought a Tamron 24-70 f2.8 so that I can start adding birth photography to my package, not maternity, not newborn, raw and powerful birth. Does anyone else do this?

Id love a bee hive - Ive got loads of plants and herbs etc. I got a larhe Fatsia japonica. Very excited.

I am about to have my front garden planted, what are your best tips for plants to pull in the wildlife, all year round. I have a ton of bird feeders, hidden in a wild rose bush, but effectively I am starting from scratch with everything else, including having a deep pond put in.

No need cheap and cheerful - one day when they are bigger I'll get good kit. I usually have 2 bodies and lens but it's awkward at the moment

Thanks yes either of those lengths will do for me I think so it's down to finding one at the right price now - pointless paying a lot as they don't last here

Yay to sand on sensor it's why I don't have expensive kit (or one of reasons) I figure when they are older I'll get better equipment but for now cheap and cheerful suits.
