Hmmm - I’m tempted to convert another camera again now. Got an old GF5 sat doing nothing [emoji846]

Nikon D700 official owners/users thread, anything related to the D700

I felt you could use the D700 to break rocks, it was that well built.

Sounds like you miss your D700 as much as I miss mine :(

Sigma 105 OS for me - can't fault it, pin sharp. I really need to use it more though.

Which filter are you after? I think I might have one or two I bought from Stick Optics in a box somewhere.

Yeah the 750 should be much better - just need to get out and use it

My old D7200 was very good for noise on astro shots - I've not tried my D750 yet on astro The D7200 would be a massive upgrade from a D90 - I went D90 to D7000 to D7100 to D7200 then D750. And the Tokina 11-16 is stellar on a D7200

Beginner Advice on the best lens for landscape

You can use any lens for landscape - from ultra wide angle to get the whole vista with maximum depth up to telephoto to isolate subjects and compress depth of field. For ultra wide angle The Sigma 10-20 or better still the Tokina 11-16 is hard to beat though.

    Bird box cam 2017

Well the waspy thing seems to have gone unless it's sat on top of the camera but still no signs of any birds in there :(

Yes I was mainly using it pointing downwards today so that would probably explain it :)
