What shutter speeds are you trying to achieve? If you're aiming for really high shutter speeds then you will need to bump up the ISO. Chances are you need to moderate the shutter speed.

As people are saying, at that focal length it's probably not an issue. I shoot a lot of live music and I find it's not about how steady I can hold the camera it's how much the performer moves about that's the issue.

This depends a lot on budget, what you shoot and what lenses you're using. It might well you're bettering off investing in better lenses.
