The late, great Chaska (Malamute). His coat always helped in my photography. :) For those that may think this wasn't challenging, factor in a garden full of junk, that the old man leaves everywhere. Still, I had to 'shop out a chimney pot, which was just behind him....

I wouldn't trust that battery. The only third party battery I've had positive results from, was a Duracell one. That seemed to work (and still does) fine. But I know from plenty of reports, online and from mates, that you get variable results from third party batteries..

If it's just for the enjoyment, just turn up, early to a local gig. Speak to the organiser and say if the band or the club would like some pics taken.. They never say no, in my experience. Plus if the band know you're taking pics for THEM, they'll more than likely pose, whilst playing. Also...

I use to shoot gigs... A lot. Pay wise, it all depends on the gig/band/manager(if any) and how desperate they are. I found it really varied from free admission to a few hundred. That was back when digital was just really coming in. It also helps if you get to know a band. Very rarely, you get to...

So it does... Nice. :)

Just as a side note here - What would the extenders do to that Sigma 150-600...? :eek: ;)
